What Should You Do?

Seek emergency care immediately. Call 1122 or go to the nearest ER. Chew an aspirin (325 mg) if not allergic. Do not drive yourself. Avoid exertion and remain calm.

When to See a Doctor

See a doctor immediately if chest pain lasts more than a few minutes, is accompanied by shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, or radiates to the arm or jaw. Even if it subsides, get evaluated the same day.
